Ads from Walmart for frozen funeral potatoes have been popping up in people’s Facebook feeds and confusing many folks — unless they’re from Idaho or Utah, where they’re a church staple.

BYU-Idaho to host “100 Years of Fashion” display

REXBURG — A Brigham Young University-Idaho sewing professor happened across a century of fashion while visiting the Butte-based Copper King Mansion earlier this year. She later returned to document the finery and secured an agreement with the owners to showcase the clothing this month at the university.

Teton Land Trust adds 400 acres

The Teton Valley Regional Land Trust announced Tuesday the completion of a new 400-acre agricultural land easement in Teton County, bringing the total amount of land the group has protected to more than 11,000 acres in the county through agreements with 62 different families. Statewide, more than 33,000 acres have been protected.
