Ririe’s Johnson signs with William Penn

Surrounded by his parents and siblings, Jace Johnson signs his national letter of intent to play basketball for William Penn University on Wednesday in Ririe High School’s gym. William Penn is an NAIA school in Oskaloosa, Iowa.

Jace Johnson became Ririe’s first men’s college basketball signee since 2003 upon signing his national letter of intent Wednesday to Iowa NAIA school William Penn University.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — It wasn’t even clear until an hour before the game if Utah rookie Donovan Mitchell was going to play in Game 2 against Oklahoma City.

CLEVELAND (AP) — LeBron James scored 46 points and added 12 rebounds as the Cleveland Cavaliers bounced back from a poor performance in the opener by holding off the Indiana Pacers 100-97 on Wednesday night to even their Eastern Conference series at one game apiece.
