The Idaho Republican Party last month held its biennial convention in Pocatello, selecting new officials for the next two years. There were significant changes in party leadership, and those changes will set the tone got the state’s dominant party going into both the November general election and the next twoyears.

Idaho Falls utility customers will temporarily have to go to the city treasurer’s office, rather than the usual utility billing office in the basement of City Hall, after the basement flooded during Thursday afternoon’s rain and hail.
