Jenson in running for fourth spot on Olympic team

The final two automatic women’s big air/slopestyle snowboard spots were claimed Saturday at the fifth and final U.S. Olympic team qualifier at Mammoth Mountain, Calif., where Julia Marino and Hailey Langland finished second and third, respectively, behind Jamie Anderson in the women’s slopestyle snowboard finals. Jenson is behind those three in qualification points, putting her in contention for a potential fourth spot to be announced via discretionary selection this week.

Sugar-Salem is in second place in the team standings with 90 points through Friday. Blackfoot and Bonneville are the only eastern Idaho teams to have won the Tiger-Grizz team title in the last 19 years.
